Collectors can now submit trading cards, trading card games, memorabilia prints, comic books, trade paperbacks, coins, original artwork, and figurines to The Authority. The Authority can authenticate, grade, and encapsulate submitted collectibles.
The Authority authentication is affordable. Collectors can typically authenticate, encapsulate, and grade an item for less than $10.
The Authority grading is reliable and consistent. Items are graded using the industry’s first public grading standard.
The Authority process is fast. Items are typically processed, imaged, and vaulted in under 30 days.

The Authority™ is excited to introduce booklet slabs!
For the first time in the industry, trading card booklets can be authenticated and slabbed for a cost and for an addtional cost grades can be purchased instantly at any time with Reveal Grade™.
For the first time in the industry, slabbed booklets can also be transferred into The Authority from channel retailers and instantly slabbed with Reveal Grade. Once you reveal the grade, you can scroll over the grade in the item page to see the item’s component grades!
Booklets have long challenged the hobby. There are tens, if not hundreds, of different sizes and configurations of booklets. Booklet card segments can have different thicknesses and card segment bindings can have different lengths. One booklet may have card segments bound on their horizontal axis while another booklet may have card segments bound on their vertical axis while yet another may have them bound on both. A booklet with 20pt card segments may have bindings that are 80pt long while another booklet with 20pt segments may have bindings that are 100pt long.
The universal booklet slab can fit most booklet sizes regardless of the thickness of the card segments or the length of the bindings!

The Authority™ is excited to introduce item shipping add-ons! Starting today, you can upgrade particular items at shipping with add-ons! The first item add-on available in shipping is toploaders for trading cards and TCGs. For an extra $0.50, you can purchase a toploader to be added to a card for shipment.
We have also introduced a number of features for large, bulk shipments.
You can select the “Add Toploader to All” button. Selecting this option will add a top-loader to each raw, non-slabbed card in your shipment.
You can also select “Remove all Add-Ons” to clear your shipment of all add-ons.
Top-loaders will not be added to slabbed cards or cards that are in the process of being slabbed.
